Why Cash-Based Services?
Durare Physical Therapy & Wellness is a cash based practice, meaning I do not bill insurance directly. This model allows me to focus entirely on you and your goals, rather than being restricted by what an insurance company dictates.
Insurance often limits the number of visits, the type of treatments covered, and the time I can spend with each patient. By working outside of those constraints, I’m able to provide longer, more personalized sessions, tailor care specifically to your needs, and focus on your performance and recovery—not just on what’s “reimbursable.”
With a cash-based approach, I work for you, not your insurance company. You gain more flexibility, more individualized attention, and the freedom to pursue care that truly supports your long-term health and performance
A Note for Medicare Patients
I can see Medicare patients for wellness, injury-prevention, and general strengthening services on a cash-pay basis. These services are considered non-covered by Medicare and therefore can be provided outside of the insurance system.
However, under Medicare guidelines, I am unable to provide telehealth physical therapy visits or treatment for a medical diagnosis (such as post-surgical rehab or injury care) on a cash basis. Those services fall under Medicare-covered benefits and must be billed through Medicare.
This distinction enables me to support Medicare beneficiaries in achieving their wellness and fitness goals while remaining compliant with federal rules and regulations.
