About me
Hi, I’m Colleen Aubrey, a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) based in Stoughton, Wisconsin, and the founder of Durare Physical Therapy & Wellness. I earned my undergraduate degree at the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo, where I balanced academics with being a collegiate softball player, and went on to complete my Doctor of Physical Therapy education at the University of Wisconsin Madison.
As a former student-athlete, my years on the softball field taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of strength both physically and mentally. Today, I carry that same mindset into my practice, along with personal experience in marathon running and triathlon training, which gives me a deep understanding of the challenges athletes face.
The name Durare comes from the Latin word meaning “to endure” or “to last.” Pronounced doo-RAH-ray. It represents the core of my philosophy: building resilience, restoring strength, and helping people thrive long-term.
I treat every person as a whole, creating plans that meet you where you are whether you’re recovering from ACL surgery, chasing a new PR, or simply working toward pain-free movement. My goal is not only to help you recover, but to give you the tools and confidence to live strong, healthy, and active.
